SAT-OCEAN
provides for any region of the globe Ocean
Waves Hindcast (up to 9 years), Nowcast and Forecast based
on the analysis of SAT-OCEAN sea surface height data combined with the state of the art WAVEWATCH III model.
The results of this model are dependent on the quality of the data it receives (wind and altimetry). SAT-OCEAN only uses the data cleaned,
calibrated and controlled in-house. This model allows to compute all the required information about the sea state, including
extreme events ( 1, 10, 100 return periods, occurences ...) and the separate characteristics of the swell and the wind sea.
